UPS is the international carrier in Pakkeshopper. Put UPS Access Points and UPS home delivery in your Shopify checkout, offer UPS in the countries where it makes sense and keep your usual carriers for the rest.
What you get with UPS in Pakkeshopper
- Access Points in the checkout. Shoppers pick a UPS Access Point from a list or a map, with distance and opening hours. The order confirmation page shows the chosen point with address and opening hours. Read more about pickup points in the checkout.
- Home delivery. Add a UPS home delivery method with its own price and rules.
- The destinations you choose. UPS is set up as an international carrier. You decide the countries with the destination country rule.
- Labels through vShip. Map the UPS method to a vShip shipping profile, and Pakkeshopper books the label through vShip. You need a vShip account.
Tracking is not included for UPS. The tracking dashboard covers GLS, PostNord, Bring, DAO, DHL and PostNL.
Shipping rules that fit UPS
UPS is often the method for the countries your other carriers do not cover, or for heavy parcels. Shipping rules handle both:
- Destination country. Show UPS only in selected countries, and let GLS, PostNord or DHL take the rest.
- Weight. Show UPS above a weight limit, or hide it below one.
- Order value. Offer free UPS delivery above an order value. Discount codes are deducted before the threshold is checked.
- Products and customers. Product tags, product groups and customer tags limit UPS to the right products or customers.
See all options on the shipping rules page.
UPS labels through vShip
Pakkeshopper prints UPS labels through vShip. Map the UPS shipping method to a shipping profile in your vShip account. Then print from the order, or in bulk from the orders list, and Pakkeshopper books the label through vShip. Print Agent sends the label to your label printer the moment it is created. Return labels are not available for UPS.
Order data for your warehouse system
Pakkeshopper writes the carrier, the delivery type and the chosen Access Point to the Shopify order, in order attributes named _pakkeshopper_* and in the shipping line code. Shipmondo, Peak WMS, Traede, Ongoing, Lagersystem.dk, SmartPack and vShip read this data. See the developer guide.
Which plan do you need
The Starter plan is free for the first 100 orders per month and includes one carrier. The Pro plan ($19 per month, 500 orders) includes all carriers, label printing, statistics and API access.
