Budbee in Shopify: home delivery and boxes

Budbee, part of Instabee, delivers to the door, to a Budbee box and to pickup points in the Nordics. Pakkeshopper puts all three delivery types in your Shopify checkout and books the labels through vShip.

What you get with Budbee in Pakkeshopper

Home delivery. Offer Budbee home delivery in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, with its own price and rules.
Budbee box. Shoppers pick a Budbee box from a list or a map, with the distance from their address.
Pickup points. Budbee pickup points work the same way, with distance and opening hours. Read more about pickup points in the checkout.
Labels through vShip. Map the Budbee method to a vShip shipping profile, and Pakkeshopper books the label through vShip. You need a vShip account.
Order confirmation. The Shopify order confirmation page shows the Budbee logo and the chosen box or pickup point with its address, in 9 languages.

Tracking is not included for Budbee. The tracking dashboard covers GLS, PostNord, Bring, DAO, DHL and PostNL.

Shipping rules that fit Budbee

Destination country. Show Budbee in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, or pick a carrier per country, for example Budbee in Sweden and GLS in Denmark.
Zip codes. Show Budbee only in the zip codes you want. For Denmark, one-click presets cover the islands, bridged and non-bridged.
Weight and order value. Hide Budbee above a weight limit, or offer it free above an order value. Discount codes are deducted before the free-shipping threshold is checked.
Products and customers. Product tags, product groups and customer tags limit Budbee to the right products or customers.
Unmanned points. One setting hides Budbee boxes and other unmanned points.

Budbee labels through vShip

Pakkeshopper prints Budbee labels through vShip. Map the Budbee shipping method to a shipping profile in your vShip account. Print from the order, or in bulk from the orders list, and Pakkeshopper books the label through vShip. Print Agent then prints it on your label printer. Return labels are not available for Budbee.

Budbee and Instabox

Both are part of Instabee, but they are separate carriers in Pakkeshopper. Budbee covers home delivery, Budbee box and pickup points in four Nordic countries. Instabox covers parcel lockers in Sweden and Norway. Add the carrier you ship with.

Which plan do you need

The Starter plan is free for the first 100 orders per month and includes one carrier. The Pro plan ($19 per month, 500 orders) includes all carriers, label printing, statistics and API access.

How to get started

Install Pakkeshopper and turn on Carrier Calculated Rates

Install Pakkeshopper from the Shopify App Store. Your store needs Shopify's Carrier Calculated Rates feature. Ask Shopify support to add it if your plan does not include it.

Add a Budbee shipping method

In the Pakkeshopper dashboard, create a shipping method with Budbee as the carrier. Choose home delivery, Budbee box or pickup point, set the price and add rules for destination country, weight, order value or products.

Test the checkout

Place a test order with a Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish address and check that the Budbee method appears, with boxes and pickup points on the map. Shopify caches rates for up to 24 hours, so change the house number or the cart to get fresh rates.

Which countries does Budbee cover in Pakkeshopper?

Budbee is available for Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Use the destination country rule to show the Budbee method only in the countries where you ship with Budbee.

Does Pakkeshopper support Budbee box?

Yes. Budbee boxes are supported next to home delivery and pickup points. Shoppers pick a box from the list or the map. If you do not want to offer boxes, one setting hides parcel lockers and other unmanned points.

Can I print Budbee labels from Pakkeshopper?
