PostNord in Shopify

PostNord delivers to pickup points, parcel lockers and home addresses in Denmark and Sweden. With Pakkeshopper you show all three in the Shopify checkout, print PostNord labels from the order and track the parcels.

What you get with PostNord in Pakkeshopper

PostNord pickup points and parcel lockers in the checkout

Your customer picks a PostNord pickup point or parcel locker in the checkout, from a list or from a map with PostNord markers. Each point shows distance and opening hours. If you want staffed pickup points only, one setting hides parcel lockers and other unmanned points. The order confirmation page shows the PostNord logo, a delivery status bar and the chosen point with address and opening hours. Read more about pickup points in the checkout.

PostNord home delivery

Add a PostNord method for home delivery. Address validation checks that the customer has typed a house number and blocks the checkout until the address is corrected. This avoids carrier penalty fees.

PostNord labels and return labels

Pakkeshopper prints PostNord labels as PDF directly from the order or in bulk from the orders list. Enter your PostNord customer number in the settings first. You can mark the order as fulfilled with the tracking number in the same step, so Shopify sends its shipping confirmation e-mail. Turn on return labels, and a PostNord return label prints after each shipping label. Read more about label printing.

PostNord tracking

Pakkeshopper tracks every PostNord shipment. The tracking dashboard shows delivery rate, median transit time, exceptions and returns, and a list of PostNord parcels that are stuck in transit, uncollected or on the way back. Shopify Flow triggers let you act on them.

PostNord outside the Nordics

PostNord hands parcels to DPD outside the Nordics. Those shoppers therefore see the method as DPD, with the DPD logo. See the DPD carrier page.

Shipping rules that fit PostNord methods

• Weight: show PostNord parcel lockers for small parcels and home delivery for heavy orders.
• Order value: offer free PostNord shipping above a threshold. Discount codes are deducted first.
• Zip codes: add a surcharge for the Danish islands with one-click presets.
• Country: show PostNord to customers in Denmark and Sweden, and other carriers elsewhere.

Which plan do you need

Starter is free for the first 100 orders per month and includes one carrier, so you can run PostNord alone on the free plan. Pro ($19 per month) gives you all carriers and PostNord label printing. Max ($49 per month) adds zip code, product tag and customer tag filters.
