Instabox delivers to parcel lockers in Sweden and Norway and is part of Instabee, the same group as Budbee. With Pakkeshopper, your Shopify store shows Instabox lockers in the checkout, and your customers pick the locker that suits them.
What you get with Instabox in Pakkeshopper
- Parcel lockers in the checkout. The customer picks an Instabox locker from a list or from a map with carrier-branded markers, with distance and opening hours. A list mode lets the buyer pick the locker live.
- The locker on the order. The chosen locker is written to the Shopify order as
_pakkeshopper_*order attributes and in the shipping line code, so your warehouse system can read it. See the developer guide. - Order confirmation. The Shopify order confirmation page shows the Instabox logo and the chosen locker with address and opening hours, in 9 languages.
- Labels through vShip. Map the Instabox shipping method to a vShip shipping profile, and Pakkeshopper books the label through vShip when you print from an order or in bulk. Print Agent can send the labels straight to your label printer.
Instabox has no home delivery in Pakkeshopper, and Pakkeshopper does not track Instabox parcels. Return labels are available for GLS, Bring, DAO and PostNord, not for Instabox.
Shipping rules for Instabox methods
Weight rules help you keep heavy or bulky parcels out of the locker method. In the shipping method editor you can:
- Show or hide the Instabox method by weight and order value.
- Limit the method to Sweden and Norway with the destination country rule.
- Show or hide the method for specific products with product tags or product groups.
- Place the method anywhere in the checkout list, and duplicate it with one click for a second country or price.
Discount codes are deducted from the order value before a free-shipping threshold is applied, so a customer does not get free shipping below the threshold. Read more about shipping rules.
Which plan do you need
Instabox is available on the Pro plan and higher. Pro costs $19 per month for 500 orders, then $0.02 per extra order, and includes all carriers and label printing. Zip code, product tag and customer tag filters are part of Max. See the pricing on the home page.
Your store also needs Shopify's Carrier Calculated Rates feature. Read how to get it in the Carrier Calculated Rates guide.
