# Posten in Shopify

Let shoppers in Norway pick a Posten pickup point in the checkout, print labels and track every parcel. Posten is Bring, shown under the brand Norwegians know.

- **Return labels.** Turn on return labels, and a return label prints after each shipping label. You can also add one later from the order.

## Shipping rules that fit Posten

Pakkeshopper shows or hides a shipping method based on rules. These fit a Posten setup well:

- **Destination country.** Show the method only to addresses in Norway.
- **Weight and order value.** Offer pickup point delivery under a weight limit, or free shipping above an order value. Discount codes are deducted before the free shipping threshold applies.
- **Products and customers.** Hide the method for products with a certain tag, or show a special rate to customers with a tag.
- **Quantity-based prices.** Multiply a price by the number of qualifying items, with an optional cap.

Address validation checks for a house number before the customer can pay. This avoids penalty fees from the carrier.

## Posten in your order data

Pakkeshopper writes the carrier, delivery type and pickup point to Shopify order attributes named `_pakkeshopper_*` and to the shipping line code. For Posten, the carrier value is Bring. ## How to get started

1. Install Pakkeshopper and turn on Carrier Calculated Rates: Install the app from the Shopify App Store. Ask Shopify support to add Carrier Calculated Rates to your store if you do not have the feature yet.
2. Add a shipping method with Posten: Create a shipping method in the dashboard with Bring as the carrier, and choose pickup point or home delivery. Add rules for weight, order value and destination country.
3. Test the checkout: Place a test order with a Norwegian address. Shopify caches rates for up to 24 hours, so change the house number or the cart contents to see fresh rates.

### Why does my order say Bring when the customer chose Posten?

Posten is the name Bring uses in Norway. Pakkeshopper shows Posten and the Posten logo to shoppers in Norway, but the order data and your warehouse system still get Bring.
